I love that moment so much. I seriously love all of their moments in 3x01. Especially, "I know you said you didn't want to date cops, but I really like you." "I like you too."
and yeah that ending scene with them is so great. I mean they were never really going to be 'light and breezy' anyway. It was so much more than that for them.
They had some great stuff in the honeymoon episode too.
