i went with my mother this afternoon. we both are big fan of the original. she was hoping for more stuff the original had. i thought this one was good but i thought some of the songs ran a bit long and therfor kinda lost my interest by the time they ended. (not all of them just a few dragged on) i thought the animation part was the best part. i would have liked more of that actually. the last 20 minutes i thought was the best part of the movie. i think this is one of those movies you need to watch a couple times before you fully enjoy it. but it was a very good movie. Lin-Manuel Miranda was my favorite in the movie
now i want to rewatch the original again.
