I think Red says, in the ep with the pregnancy scare, that with Donna as the kid's mom, s/he could be an athlete (if not, it seems like a Red thing to say
). Donna was in JV wrestling and good at basket ball and other sporty things. So her and Eric's kid would have a chance.

Red would probably happy if Eric and Donna, Laurie and whomever, and Jackie and Hyde had enough athlete kids to be the entire Packers team.
