I can't believe that this board has been opened for 18 years!! This is AMAZING!! I'm happy to be part of it, not only as a poster but as a mod for the past couple of years.
This is without a doubt my favorite board on because it has such an upbeat vibe, everybody is always so kind and encouraging towards everybody's arts. I've made great friends being part of it, and seeing the pretties that artists make is always a plus.
To me Fan arts are a hobby, a fun way to pass my time. It's very rewarding to see how we (artists) give a whole new aspect to a picture after we've worked on them.
I'd like to thank everybody that takes time to share their arts with us, as well as everybody that comments on them. As a mod I really hope each and every one of you enjoy the board and continue being part of it

For me Fan Art is a therapy or an outlet to help clear the mind, relax, & continue the fan experience. I've always loved art of some kind & playing around with different things so it was only natural for me to move on to creating computer-based art/fan arts. Drawing is possibly my favourite type of art then I don't know about computer graphics. Maybe icons? I just like playing around in photoshop
I like how friendly & helpful the posters are. The board always seems to have a positive & welcoming atmosphere which encourages art & helps those who may struggle in certain areas. Everyone is quick to lend out a hand for those in need, provide advice, share how much they love art, ect. I wish I could post more on the board instead of more lurking & participating more in the challenges. I do love the challenges though so I'm glad that there's lots o different sorts of things like that on the board
