We've had many barn cats over the years. Out here in the wild, they usually only lived 2 or 3 years, and then disappear. These last 2 were close to 7 years old.
One disappeared in May and the last one died in the yard. That's it. No more hauling cat food to the barn in the dark, and snow.
Sorry it was a rough race for you two.
