Very true..Josh is such a nuanced actor ..he doesn't have to speak to express so many feelings. That's one of the things I was relieved about b/c in Season 5/6 when Pacey and Joey weren't together..there were looks that Josh would have that made you believe that Pacey still had a little bit of some kinda feelings for Joey. So when they actually reunited, it didn't feel like it came out of nowhere.
