^ I take a lot of things they say with a grain of salt. Since I don't see evidence of it in their interactions with other characters. She just wants to think the worst of him since she's just comfortable with her life as is and wary that he'll turn out like her dad did.
Claudia and Mean Janine was interesting.
I actually liked that we got to see Janine's pov more and understand her in a new way. The end with Janine/Mimi was really sweet.
I actually remembered parts of Boy Crazy Stacey. Especially Burger Garden...for some reason.
I liked the summer feel to the book, we read it at the perfect time.
