In the end she didn't and i rewatch it like last year her season and i realised she was such a great character that got ruined by love . She is out of the new who companions the most intelligent and independent one .
I mean she is a nurse so she has a brain and she was the only companion to walk away from the Doctor i mean that says a lot , in the end she is the only one really alive
