I do agree that Kelly was only basing Dylan on the fact that he's cool. In this episode, it seemed to me that before Brenda got involved, Dylan and Kelly only knew each other very casually as if they weren't even close friends. Otherwise I think DK would've dated because they would've at least thought each other was hot. It seems like Kelly was just describing Dylan as this mysterious guy and rebel but not knowing any facts about him. I think she also told Brenda that he got a girl pregnant.
