Debbie was enjoying kissing Carl when no-one would interrupt. Sometimes, emotion would take over and Debbie would get lightheaded making decisions about life and often deciding when she worked. Romance was overrated when she had work to do at the diner, taking on orders and serving entrees to customers. The best times were during the daily breakfast when Brian would bring Justin in and everybody would look at his clothing, which resembled a velvety delicious silk shirt. He would unbutton his fly and re-button it without thinking. That afternoon, everybody sat watching Debbie taking orders and singing showtunes she had memorized. Suddenly Carl reached for his wallet so he could get money out for the lemon bars he just ate because they were especially delicious confections. After that evening, Carl went to see his boss about matters of policing, realizing crimes still exist. His shift started early that day doing usual paperwork, when suddenly Emmett arrived upset because he had scuffed his Prada boots on trash can. Carl went to help Emmett, finding him upset and devastated sitting by the boots ruined via big dirt nonsense. After finally being able to
