Steph, he was able to answer most of the book questions when he did promotions for part 1. A lot of the cast are usually asked if they're familiar with HP. I only found out about this when he got cast actually.
As per this interview, IGN didn't know Ezra is a Potterhead and he was all chill and didn't react and he got all the answers right.
If Eddie, Katherine, Alison & Dan were there, they'd probably be like "NO! Ezra will win!
