Agent Lincoln-Lee was originally introduced in "Over There, Part 1", when the Fringe division of our universe goes to 'the other side' to get Peter back. The showdown between the two Fringe divisions leaves Lee with third degree burns covering 90% of his body. Thanks to the advanced nanotechnology known in the alternate universe, Lee doesn’t stay away from duty for long, and after a three months medical treatment he is completely recovered.
In "Over There, Part 2" Walter recovers in the hospital from hemorrhagic shock... the type of shock associated with severe gunshot wounds to the abdomen (from a shoot out). Different type drugs and accelerated healing techniques 'over there' saved him.
In "Olivia" Daily airline passenger spaceflights to the moon are available to the public.
In the episode "The Abducted" on the taxi that Henry Higgins was driving was an advertisement for LINGG EYE GROUP - a Division of Keaton Robotics which appears to be promoting robotic eyes that could possibly mean artificial eyeball implants to correct vision.
In "Everything In Its Right Place" the newspaper Manhatan Courier has moving pictures on its front page featuring an article from Friday, November 12, 2004 about fighter Jorge Garcia winning a boxing match in 14 rounds.
In a real time scenario you can bet your bottom dollar Olivia & Company would have sent special FBI research teams from our universe to the alternate universe to gather all the data they could to harness this and other technologies from their universe to ours. They would have most definately have gathered information on their history as well including the World Trade Center Twin Towers still standing.

Alternate Olivia and Alternate Lincoln Lee act like they’ve never heard of Batman in "Everything In Its Right Place", yet it was established in "Over There, Part 2" that the character does exist over there (he’s depicted in two of the alternate comic book covers hanging in the high-tech state-of-the art apartment that Walternate set up for him in lower Manhatan.)

It was first disclosed in S3-EP13 "Immortality" that sheep went extinct in the alternate universe in 2001.
This would have had a great impact on several worldwide industries 'over there'.
If sheep went extinct, so would have lamb, since it is the word for a young sheep. Lamb is also the meat of domestic sheep.
Lamb is often sorted into three kinds of meat: forequarter, loin, and hindquarter. The forequarter includes the neck, shoulder, front legs, and the ribs up to the shoulder blade. The hindquarter includes the rear legs and hip. The loin includes the ribs between the two.
Meat from sheep features prominently in several cuisines of the Mediterranean. Lamb is very popular in Central Asia and in certain parts of China, where other red meats may be avoided for religious or economic reasons. It is also very popular in Australia. Barbecued lamb is also a specialty in some areas of the United States and Canada.
Delicacies that would have been affected in the alternate universe include:
Lamb chops, which are cut from the rib, loin, and shoulder areas. The rib chops include a rib bone; the loin chops include only a chine bone. Shoulder chops are usually considered inferior to loin chops; both kinds of chops are usually grilled. Breast of lamb (baby chops) can be cooked in an oven.
Leg of lamb, which is a whole leg; saddle of lamb is the two loins with the hip. Leg and saddle are usually roasted, though the leg is sometimes boiled.

Lamb shank, which is cut from the arm of shoulder, contains leg bone and part of round shoulder bone, and is covered by a thin layer of fat and fell (a thin, paper-like covering). Lamb shank is a cut of meat from the upper part of the leg.

Lamb tongue, a popular Middle Eastern cuisine, is served both as a cold cut and in preparations like stews.

Sheepskin is the hide of a sheep, sometimes also called lambskin. Unlike common leather, sheepskin is tanned with the fleece intact, as in a pelt.
Sheepskin is used to produce sheepskin leather products and soft wool-lined clothing or coverings, including gloves, hats, slippers, footstools, automotive seat covers, sheepskin rugs, lambskin rugs, medical sheepskins and pelts.
Sheepskin numnahs, saddle pads, saddle seat covers, sheepskin horse boots, tack linings and girth tubes are also made and used in horseback riding.
The fleece of sheepskin has excellent insulating properties and it is also resistant to flame and static electricity. Wool is considered by the medical profession to be hypoallergenic.

Small kids in our universe love dinosaurs, maybe kids in the AU play with toy sheep.
*If our universe had donated a flock of sheep from 'over here' to replenish and repopulate sheep herds 'over there', it would have been a successful venture.
Confirmation that Skelter Beetles, who lived exclusively in sheep, and had gotten revived by mad scientist Dr. Armand Silva through infecting and killing human hosts with the bugs to continue to find a cure for the Avian Flu, were made extinct again by his death and that of the last queen skelter beetle, who infected him before his death.
Good thing skelter beetles don't exist in this universe!

In the alternate universe in the early-to-mid-1980’s Walternate created the Star Wars Missile Defense System for president Ronald Reagan.
1985 NEWSCAST: it's been six months since Peter Bishop disappeared, But authorities still have no ideas. The sympathy of the world goes out to Dr. Walter Bishop And his devoted wife, as the entire nation remains aghast at the kidnapping of their only son. Dr. Bishop, the architect of the famed Star Wars defense system that protects our nation, and his wife made an emot-- (S3-EP-15 "Subject 13").
However, Bishop is U.S. Secretary of Defense under the Barack Obama administration and is good buddies with the still alive former president, U.N. Ambassador, and current head of a new agency aimed at slowing ecological breakdown John F. Kennedy. ( S2-EP23 "Over There, Part 2")
The White House announced that President Obama has chosen former President John F. Kennedy to lead the government's new agency aimed at slowing ecological breakdown. President Kennedy plans to step down from his role as U.N. Ambassador... (S3-EP1 "Olivia")
How can this be?
Ronald Reagan was (is) a republican while John F. Kennedy and Barack Obama are both democrats.
Either:
A. Walternate switched American political parties and became a democrat sometime between 1985 and 2009.
B. Walternate is bipartisan and so is the position of U.S. Secretary of Defense in the alternate universe.
C. Ronald Reagan was (is) a democrat in the alternate universe.
D. John F. Kennedy and Barack Obama are both republicans in the alternate universe.
E. All are (were) members of that
"Third Party" that exists in the alternate universe.
