One night at Hogwarts, Ron Weasley went over to Professor McGonagall's office to discuss his recent grade in Transfiguration because it was better than Hermione's and she was wondering how he could have gotten the better grade.
The person who would be able to determine what happened was Professor McGonagall but she was not able to talk about it with anyone who was coming from the room of requirement or the kitchens. after this, Ron went to his room in the castle to just lie down and figure out what to do about the way of his predicament. When no one was watching him, he tried to come to a Party with Harry Potter and not Ginny Weasley. Hermione was going to the party to make up with Ron after she had argued with him about how he was the one with the better grade for transfiguration.
