My problem with Pete bringing in new people is that they all have disappointed me story-wise. Isaac was great at first but then took a really dark turn that just talking to AK triggered a lot for him. At the end of the season he freaking relapsed, UGH. They introduced the parents of Asher, Michaela, Connor & Laurel and they're all evil people. Like...?
I just feel like he brings in these characters to frustrate us further and that's what I'm feeling with this new guy. Like these characters are dispensable after a few eps or one season or just meant for plot devices to further some SL for the main characters.
But I've accepted it for this show because it is what it is. I've lasted this long anyway.
