i think the green/blue suit is an early 90s thing from her time in the Kree-Skrull War, and the red/blue suit later, is her cosmic look once she enters the realm of the present-day MCU world, at least in the films. also, the green/blue suit has more a test-pilot look, since that was her job in the US Air Force, i think she modeled her early look after her pilot flight suit.
