There are lines and situations that remind me of Castle and the circumstances around it, I guess. It didn't/doesn't bother me, though - had I not seen people complaining about it on Twitter beforehand I maybe would have even missed them.

I pretty much agree with this.
There were a couple of moments that reminded me of moments in the Castle pilot.
I didn't totally hate it, though. It definitely had that Andrew Marlowe humour. My biggest problem with it (and I picked up on this in the promo) is that there is absolutely NO chemistry between the leads. It even made scenes awkward. This didn't help me from thinking of Castle.
I wanted to hate it more than I did. I just wish Andrew wouldn't have made his next show a "Castle knockoff" as the reviews refer to it. I'm sorry it is very similar to Castle. Not the same show, by any means, but extremely similar.
