Rob and Kristen were and still are given a very hard time by people both inside and outside of the media and to answer your question yes, it continues to this day and yes, they are aware that they are treated poorly and differently than their peers to put it simply.
I think that this is a perfect example of what Kristen puts up with from the paparazzi and we are really lucky to see her as often as we do.
