Marvel Cosmic Universe is still the MCU. nice. also, they are basically upstaging DC's Flashpoint film proposal, by using the Thanos Snappening/Unsnappenning as a way to bring in the Multiverse/Cosmic Universe as a form of reset for a new set of films for the future, also new and younger fans coming on board. think the New Avengers, West Coast Avengers, and The Young Avengers, such as Cassie Lang as Stature.
