I'm sure Clark isn't use to see Lana feel this strong for another man.
She does love Jason.
This is 2 episodes before Chloe will learn Clark's secret....
I think the ending scene actually foreshadows that Chloe will know.
You can also see how much more mature Chloe is in this scene.
I feel Chloe grew up more after the "Devoted" episode when Clark told her he didn't feel the same.
