I always thought he would die someday, then I kept my hopes up season by season seeing him with so many characters dying. I think they should have made something like they did with Thea. Arrow killed so many characters in the show that another one doesn't make you feel terrible. I was more devastated about Oliver being on prison than Quentin dying, and he is/was one of my favorite characters.
I wanted to see him more time as a Mayor
