Absolutely agree
She got the Walshes to step up and realize how much Dylan was actually suffering. They were embarrassed by him, until Val spoke up in favor of him and said how much he needs everyone's support instead of their judgment
Their scenes were so passionate, everything spoken between them in the pool hall was basically an innuendo
