Yeah, and he never learns or grows, he's been on earth for years yet he still seems to lack basic knowledge on things, its played as supposed to be cute and/or funny but I just find it annoying.
There was way too much of him in the last episode IMO and I didn't appreciate his whole "she's right you don't go to parties" line, like I get it was supposed to be funny, but last I checked Castiel has never even been to a party

I don't feel bad for Misha because he has never expressed true dislike about something happening with his character or disappointment; he has been in this role for years, more than long enough time for him to pipe up to the writers/producers if he has a problem with how certain things are being written about his character. I think he, personally, is quite happy with the character he plays. Awful and badly written as he is.
