It's early previews and then formal opening on April 22nd. I'm not theater-folk but I don't know what early previews are but apparently they sold tickets for early previews so people will have a chance to see ahead of the opening. I don't know if they do this for all the plays or just for this one. When I watched Phantom of the Opera here, we bought tickets for the regular run and I don't remember if we got early previews.
I guess that depends on the demand?
