A lot of people liked Lois/Oliver because they said they felt like he was Bruce and they like Lois with Bruce. Mind you these were the hardcore Cloisers telling me this, so I was confused, but alas, there you have it.
I really appreciated Lois & Oliver's friendship, but they were almost too chummy and buddy buddy to make me believe in a long term, romantic love. They get together on Friday nights for beers and a good movie. They love each other dearly and are very protective of each other. They're great as friends, IMO, but I never felt they should be more.
