Sorry to hear that you guys no longer talk because of that. I hope she can find a way to get past her thoughts on equality so you guys can talk again.
It is understandable you are not ready to move past that, but hope you are able to eventually. I don't know how close you guys were, but if she has alzheimer's, but hopefully you will be able to move past this if you would like to talk to her again before she doesn't remember anymore (even though I know you want her to forget you again since you are not ready to move past what happened).
