It so sad that their last conversation was so unpleasant not because of the words Kevin said but because of how it haunts Kevin, he'll never know about the note Jack left him and the fight didn't matter in the grand scheme of things.
Knowing Jack, he wouldn't have been disappointed. He would have just loved him through the ups and downs.
I'm glad Kevin is healing.
