Their friendship is always the one thing they had. So it sucks it's been non-existent. Especially when it's not like they've been bonding with other people. They've just been....there.
Oh yeah, I know SG suffers from the same problem.
I think since Black Lightning isn't in the verse, and has a diverse writings room. The creative juices are flowing.
Who knows maybe in 4C they'll remember they are friends again.
