At least from Canada you don't have the problems at border control as Canada has a special agreement with the US so you can do all the necessary stuff before you leave. Ireland also has this agreement and if I had known before hand I would have travelled from Dublin. We can travel to the Irish Republic quite easily and from Dublin airport could sort out the border control requirements. Instead we will have to pay about $100 to get the necessary documentation or wait in a very long queue to get in to the States. The things we do just to see Josh in a play!
