Exactly. The fact that their care more about NRA donations says a LOT.
And that's the thing. I don't mind people having guns, but
common sense regulations are better than nothing. Banning guns as a blanket measure would just mean more illegal trade of them, but if people can still buy them (with just more careful background checks/training/etc) then IDK the problem.
If you're a law-abiding citizen, then strict background checks shouldn't be a problem.
