Aww, Claire, I wish there was something you could take that would make the pain just go away while it heals (which sounds like it's not)
quite an unpleasant ordeal for you and interrupting your sleep. I guess you really have to not move? But I would think moving would help a bit but what so I know.
I'd be upset if a cat of mine disappeared outside and never came back. I remember your roommates cat disappears for while in the summer! Glad he or she came back.
