Oh, I agree with this
They really went out of their way to destroy Marissa with the Volchuk nonsense. The guy's attitude and behavior was repulsive, and her addiction to him was so forced and gross.
They should have spent more time on rebuilding Ryan/Marissa. Their last happy episode together is something like 3x04, which is insane, because it means that they had literally just slept together for the first time and it all goes to pieces. Also, her father got seriously beat up in the same episode.
