Maybe Very interesting idea. I'll think about it and answer on Saturday or Friday (when I'll finally have some time).

Unlike Lorelai Rory accepted her grandparents for who they were. But I think there was more than just love, there was also admiration (her high school graduation speech - Rory calls them "my rock").
