^ I understand. I tend to write my own backstories and headcanons all the time. It's just for my own amusement, so I don't think a lot of people are on board with them.
It does seem interesting how much Klaus knew about Elena and her inner circle, which included Damon. I love that scene where Damon stuck around Klaus' temporary residence to inform him that he had to postpone the ritual, because he had taken Klaus' vampire and werewolf and killed his witch. I had a huge
moment when Klaus turned the tables on Damon and told him that he had back-ups, so the ritual was going to go ahead as planned. =p
