Brooke and Lucas deserved better. I don't know who's more to blame, Chad for causing friction between him and Sophia or Mark Schwahn for wanting to play out his Leyton obsession regardless of the fact that it didn't make sense after Season 1, but to this day, I still hate that he gave up on Brucas in such a brutal manner.
I was a huge OTH fan back in the day (until Mark gave up on Jeyton, too) and I remember when Season 5 was airing, everyone on the OTH
board gave contributions towards building a replica of the doll house Brooke had in Season 2
It was beautiful and it was from Brucas fans, it was sent to Mark Schwahn (he pretended to be grateful but he didn't show it in the storytelling

I must have been the only one who never liked Nathan and Haley together
I think it ruined and limited both of their characters.
Loved Jake and Peyton, though. Season 2 with Jeyton and Brucas was like shippers' heaven.
