LOL I will always be perplexed that some thought Brooke/Lucas were legit?
There wasn't any hope written in their scenes. Same theme throughout.
Compare to Nathan/Haley and Lucas/Peyton who were always written as serious and long term from the start. Even when Nathan/Haley got started and you wondered if they could make it work... even with Nathan loving how Lucas might not approve... you still saw how quickly things came together for Nathan/Haley. They were on the same page very quickly. They made it work given all the circumstances surrounding them because they were meant to be and the writing was strong and indicated as much. Lucas/Brooke were just the opposite.
