I saw it Jade and I liked it. It's definitely not an award winning sci-fi film by any means but I did enjoy it. I have not read the comics though so I have no idea how much it resembles the comics.
It had a lot of great action scenes and amazing visual effects. I did not see it in the theatre when it was out but I bet the visual effects seen in 3D were AMAZING.
If you're looking for an amazing sci-fi plot and terrific dialog this movie is probably not for you
But if you love action, some comedy, stunning visual effects, and being introduced to new sci-fi worlds then you should check it out.
