^I haven't watched it yet, but it was during season 8 and she was fired after only 16 episodes. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise though, since shortly after she was fired, she got the role of Brandon Teena in Boys Don't Cry and ended up winning major awards for her performance in that movie.
