I agree with both of you and in a way it makes their relationship more intriguing to figure out... because I wonder was it tough for Miguel at first to even think of being with Rebecca since the family knew him as Jack's best friend... I know it had to just be so odd and strange.
So, I can see how and why he feels like an outsider.
It just makes me want to know more of his story and how long did it take for Miguel and Rebecca to take that next step...
