I definitely get what you mean Alex, sometimes opposites attract and often a relationship between 2 very different people can be beneficial in the sense that they should be able to complement each other. And sometimes relationships between 2 people who have a lot in common can also be equally beneficial, it really just depends.
But even if NBC renews MT for a second season, the chances of Manfred breaking up with Creek and hooking up with either Olivia or Fiji is very slim, since Olivia has already married Lem and Fiji is now officially dating Bobo. Although I would be open to the idea of Manfred dumping Creek for a new girl...in the original novels, Manfred had actually dated a different girl and Creek was originally just a minor character who only appeared in the first book. Why couldn't the producers of the series just follow the damn book?
