The movie was a bigger success than I thought. It debuted at #1 and held the top spot for 5 weeks! 5 weeks? What comedy does that? It was in top 10 for 2 months and was the 7th highest grossing film of 1987. It outgrossed Predator, Robocop, Lethal Weapon and Dirty Dancing.
