I so wish we could see the aftermath. What a brutal way for Jeff to learn that his daughter very nearly died, and all that transpired (or Liz put in her diary) via book. And to have his daughter disappear...
But the ending was perfect. Because it was full circle to the opening of the series when we hear via voice over that her life changed, that she almost died due to the shooting. And now we hear, she's happy.
So much happened in three years.
