I'm not sure if they'd recast? I think they could use Flashpoint to somehow bring in Thomas Wayne, even if it's not comic accurate when Flashpoint is over.

Yeah and those were not for Ben as Batman back when he was casted, began rumors then. He stated at comic con that he is passionate about being Batman.

There's been a lot of Ben Affleck rumors lately that have been negative, so I hope he's able to stay on as Batman.
