Yup, even when they want to be normal for a day. lol
However, it took long enough for Clark to start activity saving people... since at first he was sort of doing it like it was a chore... and eventually around season 8, he started doing it because he loved to do it.
Whereas Oliver loved doing it from the begining and told Clark to stop sitting at the farm and use his powers to save people and stop waiting for trouble to arrive at his door step.
