Why are you always so pessimistic, dragonfire?
I don't think that Disney is gonna neuter all Fox films because no filmmaker is gonna want to work with them if that's the case. I think that Disney will allow Fox and Marvel to do their thing and save the family-friendly stuff for Disney and Pixar.
Just like Comcast lets Universal do the more serious stuff while DreamWorks does the more kid-friendly stuff. Logan and Deadpool were too successful for them to just force the X-Men films to tone it down. I'm guessing it'll all depend on the individual films. And Disney also owns ABC, which does some provocative TV as well, like Quantico and Scandal. But I'm just glad we're finally getting some good Dark Phoenix stuff.
