^ Yeah because when I see his first episodes, I can see how he wasn't meant to be a regular. He only appeared on/off.... and we just saw him being evil. So, I'm assuming his father was there to show how evil of a person he was and to show fans that Lex was going to become that way.... and that was it.
It just feels like his character wasn't suppose to be all that big.... but luckily that changed.
