I think he knows it.
Unfortunately I can't let him out so we have an area of the patio fenced off where he can at least go outside without fear of him wandering.
Sorry I can't type much as I have damaged my wrist. It has a long medical name but the doctor says it will take about 2 months for it to get better and to use anti inflammatory gel to help it heal. It is very painful and swollen and involves inflammation of the sheath that carries the main tendon to the wrist bone. Basically I just have to put up with it til it gets better by itself!
