aubie my Dad seems pretty happy at his new place and it helps a lot that he picked it out/it was his decision, so he'll work harder to make a go of it, make friends there, etc, I think. He's much happier now that he has a telephone again!
I think this time of year makes everyone very tired, plus changing the clocks
We used to carve pumpkins with the kids, wash and salt and roast the pumpkin seeds to eat for a snack, and then I'd cook up the pumpkin after and make pumpkin recipes - gawd I was ambitious/had energy back then! LOL! Then I got a plastic already carved pumpkin and saved myself a lot of mess and trouble. They are also really gross when they go moldy and get soft after Halloween - ugh.
