I enjoyed this episode very much.
I can't help but think though that because he's vulnerable to physical harm when he's with Chloe it limits his ability to undertake "work".
The risk may be part of the attraction for him, but he could help in so many meaningful ways, case in point Candy.
His developing friendships with these women (Ella, Candy...) show that he is able to connect emotionally with people, he doesn't have to be isolated.
