I'm actually amazed at how stylish Anna's character looks in Mindhunter. The series is set in the late 70s and I can say from personal experience that fashions during that time were... not exactly stylish is the nicest way I can put it.
It's not like everyone was wearing studded disco outfits; but there was a tendency towards polyester and extreme color. Wendy Carr's style is very understated and classic.
