That's what I was going to say, that he is also what makes her strong. I think Bellamy and Clarke really actually subvert the idea that love is weakness. They inspire and support and believe in each other. All those things give them strength and stem from love (various types of love, in my mind). So to me, they prove that love is strength.
For Clarke . . .
"I see you."
She saw the real him, the Bellamy beneath the bravado, before anyone else did. She saw the good in him when others refused to. She sees him.
